Living Headless News

Living Headless took the cold months off. From practicing to playing out. None of us are winter type people and we needed to relax after partying and playing way too hard with our good friends from Shadows Inc, likely the next band out of Peoria to hit it huge. They are soo good, and have given us fuel to move people the way they do. But all of us felt that the winter months should be a battery of sorts...a depression aided, frozen hurricane soup that recharged our music inspiration. Its working. All of us cant wait to get back together. But we wait. We spent this time going into the studio separately to re-work various parts on the album. I feel like an old fucking man now. There are alot of bands who drink and dream (us included), but really, that's not what it takes. We lost hundreds in cash spending time doing what we thought was right. Much maturity has happened since that day we dared to pursue ourselves musically. None of us look at the industry the way we once did. Our eyes have changed, and our guitars are sharper. We learned that not everyone achieves success along the same road. We get by with a little help from our friends. We have been sponsored by a local studio, Chocolate Ladyland, who we hired to produce the upcoming 14-song freshman album. The album, which has taken months to write and mix will be finally be Mastered in Chicago at the end of Feb. This feat is not our swan song, more is yet to come...But dont expect to see LH until the snow melts... |
